The Bejanyan Book: A Family That Sculpted Yerevan

My father and grandfather didn’t just sculpt stone—they shaped Yerevan itself. In every courtyard and quiet corner, I see pieces of their hands, their stories, our family’s soul. This book is a way of holding onto those Yerevan memories, and offering them back to the city that raised us.

We Went to Listen, and Found a Story

"We did not go to Istanbul to make a film. We went to listen."

In a city layered with history and silence, we began a research trip to explore the enduring Armenian presence in Istanbul. This is a community that is often overlooked but remains quietly alive. We expected to take notes and conduct a few interviews. Instead, we encountered something far more intimate.

What we discovered were living traces of memory, faith, and quiet defiance. The spaces, the people, and their everyday rituals spoke with a presence that could not be ignored.

Filmed entirely on an iPhone, this short documentary captures the emotional texture of a community that continues to carry its identity across generations. They do so not through noise or protest, but through the gentle persistence of presence.

Silence Between Two Nations is more than a film. It is the beginning of a larger journey to share the stories that have remained unheard for too long.
